It's been too hot around here to be active outside in the afternoons but we are still OK in the mornings and evenings - been in your area when the sidewalks were still steaming in the middle of the night so I know what you mean about staying indoors.

I love the heat....but that's a bit over the top! If it cools off at night that may be a good time to go outdoors, if you can.

We're supposed to be heating up finally, but I heard they have been calling this month "Junuary"

It's been hovering around 100 here. I've been getting out at sunrise and a couple of times late in the evening. But I agree... Hiking in the heat is not fun! When does it cool down in AZ anyway?!?!

Been on Sparkpeople for a few years, but some changes are due. So here I am. When it cools off in AZ I will get back outdoors. But when its around 115 stay indoors.
