Welcome aboard, Bobbie! I just started the IF about a seven weeks ago or so. I have to limit myself to a 12 hour cycle of fasting right now, because I have medications that need to be taken with food twice a day. It's been really hard, because this is the season of church Christmas banquets: women's Relief Society, Empty Nesters Family Home Evening group, the congregation's Ward Christmas Social... they were all in ONE WEEK this year! Yikes!

I am liking what it has done for my blood pressure, though, even with the limitations
Life is an experiment from the very beginning, and I like that too! LOL

P.S. I looked up enthusiasm, and it says the root words mean God within... interesting...!

Hi, I'm Bobbie from a small town in TX.

I made a commitment to myself to stop eating Sugar of any kind on Oct.26,2019. This is day 62 of No More Sugar and it's doing what I gave it up for. My blood sugar has come down.

At first, I lost about 5 lbs. then my weight staled. But, I have lost inches and 1 pant size down. So I'm happy about that.

The good things are:
(1) So far, my morning readings of Blood Sugar have dropped from 250s to 100s.
(2) My mood is so much happier.
(3) I'm getting out of chairs easier and walking faster.
(4) My left knee has stopped hurting.
(5) I don't need to urinate near as often.
(6) My belly Is NOT bloated anymore.
(7) I'm sleeping so much better too.
(8) I have lots more energy.
(9) I'm not hungry all the time anymore.
(10) I have stopped losing weight for now. (I'm not worried, that will happen as a side effect as I get healthier).

I'm fellowing Dr. Bergs, Keto and IF (Intermittent Fasting) 18 hrs fasting and 6 hrs of low carb meals with lots of green veggies.

(((Hugs))) Bobbie

I have multiple health issues that seem to feed one another in many and various ways... but I am NOT my diseases or afflictions. There are many times when I have proved to myself that I am often stronger than I believed I could be. I want to build a team of like-minded individuals who can lift each other up... so here it is.
Now, I have a kind of dicey WiFi system (the management where I live provides it, bless them) but at least it works some of the time. I will be online whenever I can.

Join me! Let's treat ourselves and others like the winners we are, and keep the bright side of life shining!
