Id like to commit too. Shedding some pounds, eating more fresh veggies, drinking 64 oz water and being more active. Im brand new to Sparkpeople.

Im usually comfortable in my body which has always been 15-20 pounds above "ideal" but I recently gained another 10-15 pounds and I hate it. No energy, ill fitting clothes, poor skin, losing control of my other routines. Ive been hitting the gym and making more healthy food choices and lost about 5 pound (still above my set point, well above that stupid "ideal") but I feel so much better. Its not the number on the scale its the quality nutrition, the moving and shaking, the mindfulness that makes me feel so much more confident and calm.

Ive looked around Sparkpeople and I can see some tools I could use, some that will not work for me. I want to incorporate changes to my lifestyle so counting calories and tracking every rep I do at the gym is not very sustainable.

I guess I want to ask, how can this group (or a thread on G*) help me? How has this group helped people in the past? What Sparkpeople tools are helping people?

Hello everyone!

I know that this group is kinda slow, maybe I should just post on *G.

It's Liat, and this time I'm going to lose the weight that I gained from having a baby. I lost the weight in between baby one and two but not between two and three so I have a ways to go. But I'm going to do it. I want to fit into my pre baby clothing again. I have cute stuff!
