What do you like to do for fun?
I love art, nature, and anything that has to do with being in the kitchen (probably why I'm in this struggle).

What diet are you following?
I don't know much about dieting but I'm trying to cut out most all sweets, snacks, and carbs.

What is your favorite exercise?
I love walking especially since I love nature. I also love kick boxing, HIIT, and yoga.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season?
I am stuck at 165 and have been for months. I turn 29 in 2 weeks so I'm determined to make it to my goal weight of 115 by my 30th birthday. 1 year is plenty of time to make it happen if not sooner.

2 random fun facts about you?
I am very anti-social but not because I choose to be, I just live a very busy life.
My dog is my whole world, more of a child rather than pet.

Anything else you would like to share?

What do you like to do for fun?
I enjoy exercise, biking, swimming, walking,dancing, etc. and enjoy having fun with my family and friends. Cooking and baking are fun for me, too as well as doing art work in various forms.Lately I have made greeting and occasion cards.

What diet are you following?
I am trying to eat only when hungry and generally eat nutritiously.

What is your favorite exercise?
My favorite exercises are with music; dancing for instance.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season?
My energy is low and exercising and getting jobs done at home are two things that sometimes are rivals.

I love being outside and in nature.Bears in the neighborhood have made that a challenge lately.

Teddy Bears and all the 5% challenges rock!

If it were not for these many wonderful 5% challenges that inspire us to stay active both with mind and body, I would probably be 200 pounds overweight right now. Instead, as of this writing, I am entering my 35th challenge with a team that rocks. I'm 30 pounds away from a healthy BMI. I hope to get back into Onderland. I credit Weight Watchers and these spectacular SparkPeople teams in helping me lose 100 lbs -- Something that took me about 5 years to complete. With God's help, your help, and a positive attitude I know it's possible. Tracking and these challenges are my best friend.

I have even greater incentive now, to eat healthy. In February of this year, God answered the prayers of two widows with a love that is modeled after king Solomon. God is such an important part of both of our lives, as is the love and compassion Jesus would have us share with others. On August 27, he proposed at the Mississippi River in Jacobson. I can confess that we knew by Day Five we would likely be husband and wife some day. God blessed us richly when we were married in a sacred ceremony at the Renaissance Festival during the wine, romance and chocolate weekend in Shakopee MN. God's favor and blessing were incredible as we publicly made known our covenant with God.

Bring on eight weeks of healthy living challenges that will help inspire us to improve the temple our Creater gave us. Find your inside motivation and build in lots of incentives to reward yourself. We can do this! Don't wait . . . Begin today!

What do you like to do for fun? I'm a lifelong reader like both my grandmothers who were voracious bookaholics. I'm hooked on Jane Austin variations and love reading all the what ifs, what if s/he had done/said this instead, what if circumstances were this instead of that? How might things have started or ended differently?

What diet are you following? DIET? EWWW. No DIET, just healthy eating focused on low dairy, low sugar, low carb, clean eating.

What is your favorite exercise? Reading. Oops, I guess that means something besides exercising my mind. How about walking? I have many beautiful local parks to enjoy.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Yes. I was very ill in January and spent 6 days in the hospital with pneumonia. Recovery is a longterm process, and I still have aftereffects that limit my activities.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. Have done a number of these and actually made my 5% goal on current team WRJG.

2 random fun facts about you? I am a Quaker who frequently sings in a professional church choir. I detest bashing no matter what political party it comes from.

Anything else you would like to share? Coincidence of this challenge starting on my birthday and ending on my anniversary. Husband and I met in high school while dating each other's best friends. We have two daughters who live much too far away and are staff to three cats.

What do you like to do for fun?
Art & Craft! Every sort and fashion. But mostly hand lettering, macrame, watercolor.... oh and of course yoga (which isn't crafting I know but I do luv it)

What diet are you following?
Simply put, eating in moderation my favorite foods, which surprisingly are mostly clean! I love clean eating, so I am often eating stuff out of my garden (or at least when it begins to grow), fruits, smoothies, and lots of 100% pure peanut butter. :)

What is your favorite exercise?
Crossfit. All the way. But right now I cannot due to personal issues, so instead I am really enjoying free-weight lifting, walking by myself in nature, and yoga.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season?
Yes. To log absolutely everything I eat every day of this month (which will be tricky because I am going on a Carribean cruise!), and to practice my pushups every day from today on.

Never done one but very excited about this one!

2 random fun facts about you?
1. I taught myself to write (correctly) from right to left when I was young, so when you turn the sheet over and shine a light through it it is written the correct way. Very fun to do :)

What diet are you following? Primarily vegetarian, small amounts of fish every month or so. Primary dietary goals = increasing freggies intake, eating mindfully, watching portions.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Grief and depression - I lost my grandmother and mother in the past few months, still healing from that.

1. The structure of the work week helps me stay on the track during the week but the weekends are a challenge.
2. My 80 mile round trip commute in Detroit traffic takes up a lot of time on work days that I could use for healthier activities.

I'm Sue of Seattle, WA, a retired CPA, living in a SHAG complex (Senior Housing Assistance Group), and a member of the Teddy Bears. My daughter's family and my brother live near by, so they are a big part of my life. I babysit my grandsons (6 & 9) a lot and they are my joy. (Theyíre the boys in my banner picture and theyíre practicing their new soccer skills). I am a dyed-in-the-wool cat lover.

Reading and playing the piano are my favorite pastimes with computer games right behind them. Trivia bit: I used to sing opera at various recitals. Iím also a Navy vet (Vietnam).

Walking is always my go-to physical activity. I do have access at my apartment building to fitness equipment and I take advantage. Since I don't have a car anymore, thereís a lot of walking to the store. Seattle has a great transit system so it's been workable.

I've been sparking since May 2010 but under a different user name. After a brief time away and the birth of my second grandson, I wanted a fresh start so re-upped in Nov 2014 with a more generic user name.

I've been part of the challenges since the 2017 winter challenge to get past this phase of my weight loss. I'm at a critical weight loss benchmark where I've lost 50+pounds but can't seem to get past it. Not only do I not lose any more weight, I start regaining. Repeatedly. So my motivation is to break through that barricade and continue to lose more than the 50 pounds. Even if I donít lose the full 5%, I have been able to keep the weight from rushing back. For me, thatís a success.

Iím not looking to make changes so much as to get back to the program. Usually, I prep all my meals the night before which keeps me on plan and away from grazing. For a variety of reasons, Iíve gotten away from that and have paid the price. Same with exercising: I need to get back to following the plan rather than when I feel like it. I guess the biggest resolution will be to skip the community food.

I don't have a favorite motivational quote (I tend to be cynical about them) but I did hear an analogy I liked. I think it was from Onekidsmom. She used the analogy of the GPS and we have to change our routes. So, now when I step on the scale, instead of groaning and griping at myself, I'm trying to think in terms of correcting the GPS. I just finished the Beck Solution book and have carried forward a couple of her ideas.

what do u like to do for fun? I like belong to a cookbook club w/ library. I like to go to Yoga centers for community events like Karayoge,( singing), attend library movie events like Envirinmental Film festival, ( starts April 8, 2019),

Hi, my name is Lyn
I started back after missing a few months and am hoping to lose my 5% by the end of this challenge.

I like to quilt, knit, bike ride, hike, and x-c ski.

I am tracking my calories on SP and staying within a 1200 range. I am trying to keep my protein up and my carbs down while eating lots of veggies and healthy protein.

My blood tests were not so great last time and I need to get my BP down. Those are my biggest challenges. emoticon

I am looking forward to the 5% challenge. I have just about reached my first 10% of my beginning weight (come on 1%) and I hope this goal will help keep me motivated.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? I have chronic kidney disease and am going in for a kidney transplant evaluation in May and I have to have a bmi under 30 (and am at 34 right now) to have the surgery so I definitely need to lose weight

What do you like to do for fun?
It really depends on the day --- some days I like to hang out at home and stay on the computer --- other days I'm off hiking god only knows where --- but I do try to incorporate this time with my grandson as well. He loves to go on walks and hikes with me --- but only if the terrain is amendable to the jogging stroller --- otherwise its more fight than fun :)

What diet are you following?
I'm just watching what I eat and doing my best to make sure I get all my nutrients in.

What is your favorite exercise?
Walking outside would be my favorite.

Hi, my name is Madonna, and I don't have a nickname.

For fun, I like to read. I also enjoy sewing and walking. While I don't necessarily enjoy the discipline of lessons, I do enjoy playing the piano.

We recently met with a nutritionist and the plan she devised is sound, so I'll use it and the SparkPeople's diabetic nutrition plan.

Right now, walking is my favorite exercise.

I don't have a personal challenge this time, but I do want to lose some weight, so making sure I eat appropiately and exercise daily is a good place to start

I've completed several previous 5% challenges, and enjoyed the accountability they bring. I don't know about the 5% weight loss--usually about 12 pounds for me--in the 8-week time frame. Enjoy reading the posts, the LTGL posts, and seeing if my team can land first.

Random facts: I'm back to piano lessons. We have new vehicles that are smarter than us right now. Been too cold to be outside and figure them out, so looking forward to warmer weather so we can "own" those vehicles.

I'm a retired high school English teacher and high school librarian. My husband is a retired high school guidance counselor. When my husband retired, we rescued a dog and have, as the bumper stickers declare, been rescued by him. What a delight. We have a daughter who is married and lives in the Chicago area.

Hi! My name is Andreja, and I've decided it's time for some extra motivation so I joined this challenge. I've done 5% Challenges in the past but I've decided that this is the one I'm going to be most successful at. I've had a challenging year with double back surgery five months ago. After a long recovery period I'm ready to restart my weight loss journey. My favorite exercise: I love doing exercise videos but nothing too challenging at the moment, my favorites are Jessica Smith and Leslie Sansone. I'm also doing back strengthening and stretching exercises daily, along with some walking. My diet - I try to eat as healthy as I can and within my calorie range. Random facts - I love books and I hope to work in a library again soon (haven't been able to work due to my back problems). For fun, I like to go outside and walk, exercise (it feels so great to be able to do that again!) and read something inspirational.

What do you like to do for fun?
- My main hobbies are writing (fiction, short stories, and novels), making glass beads, crochet, and sewing. I'm also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, a group that explores pre-1600 through experimental archeology. Basically, if they did it before 1600, someone in our group has probably tried to replicate it.

What diet are you following?
- My last diet was keto. I'm not following a diet right now, just watching calories and upping the veg and fruits.

What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy working on crafts, cross-stitching, and exploring my city and surrounding area.

What diet are you following? Using SP's recommendations and logging all of my food each day. Calories in vs. calories out.

What is your favorite exercise? I'm still looking for my favorite. I enjoy walking but would love to add another activity. I've been looking up classes in my area (yoga, barre, boxing, etc.) but haven't signed up for anything just yet.

I want to add new activities and create a weekly routine that I can stick with and enjoy. I also want to break this semi-plateau that I've had for the past 18 months. This time, Iím hoping to get on the Cloverleaf team. I didn't find anything wrong with either of the teams I've already been on. I moved from Firecrackers to Daisies to be on the same team as my mom. Coming back to the challenge after so many years, I decided to read the team descriptions and pick the best fit, which looks like the Cloverleafs.

What do you like to do for fun?
I love to read, I have planted aquariums (my indoor gardening fix) but my joy is my Quarter Horse, Bilbo

What diet are you following?
I alternate between the spark people recommendations and what chocolate is on offer :-/

What is your favorite exercise?
Horse riding, especially as we live in the beautiful South Downs, near the sea. I also enjoy weight training but I'm really inconsistent. I try to do yoga because it does help with the pain but I HATE IT!!!!!!!

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season?
I have physical challenges and have to use a wheelchair outside the house but my biggest challenge is my mindset - I tend to be all or nothing, pass/fail, black/white and this really hasn't helped me. I'm working on being kinder to myself.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it.
I was lucky enough to be part of the Underdogs for the last two challenges. I found it really helpful in making me more consistent in my exercise but also brought up some demons when my weight stubbornly refused to change. The biggest benefit was the amount of support I received from my team mates. I'm not one that asks for help. Us mothers are invincible and take on everyone else's problems, right? I was brought up that it's selfish to draw attention to your own struggles. WRONG!!! Having unconditional love and support made a huge difference to my journey and I look forward to paying it forward xxxx

2 random fun facts about you?
I have the co-ordination of a one legged sheep on cider but I love DDR on the playstation.
I used to show jump professionally.

Anything else you would like to share?
I suffer from PTSD and conversion disorder. This means I also battle depression on a regular basis. I never know when I will loose my speech or my ability to walk at all.

What is your name or nick name? My name is Hollie; I don't really have any nicknames.

What do you like to do for fun? I enjoy reading, knitting, listening to music, and watching movies. I also enjoy spending time out of doors.

What diet are you following? Diet has been a struggle for me so right now it is about making better choices, remembering to eat so that I don't get cravings, and portion control. I would especially like to eat more of a variety of vegetables and put more focus on protein (especially in the evening).

What is your favorite exercise? I would say it is a tie between yoga and walking. I am also interested in trying Cize.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? This season I am looking for work to regain my financial independence. I have been struggling with depression, anxiety, and ADHD; this means working on ME in every way and that is definitely something I have never been good at so I'm trying to learn to find a balance and accept that it IS not just okay but necessary to put myself first.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. This is my first time; I was encouraged to join by seeing how much past participants raved about the accountability and support that they gained from joining!

2 random fun facts about you? I was the Kornblumen KŲnigin in 2007, so I traveled as an ambassador to the Philadelphia German-American community in 2008 and presented three BŁrgermeisters with Liberty Bells from former Mayor John Street (and I almost didn't come back to the US). I am a true cusp baby and exhibit the traits of both Cancer and Leo (for instance, I'm a follower by nature but will step up to lead if no one else will, I am the quiet, brooding one alone in the corner or else I'm the center of attention, etc.).

Anything else you would like to share? I am facing a lot of challenges but the best success that I EVER had always was linked directly to my interactions and the amount of time I dedicated to SP, so I'm back and hoping that I can make it stick if I put myself out there. What is your name or nick name? Linda but you can call me gramaSpeedy

What do you like to do for fun? Spend time with family. We camp and all 7 of our grands are busy with sports and both Girl & Boy Scouting as well as extracurricular activities that keep us hopping.

What diet are you following? I use SP's nutrition tracker and follow the guidelines for a 71 year old woman by staying between 1200-1400 calories a day... with lots of freggies/water/wholegrains/organic foods. Moderation is key so I enjoy dark chocolate, wine, and the occasional margarita.

What is your favorite exercise? Swimming and playing outdoors with our grandchildren.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Yes, I'm struggling with AFib... can't walk like I use to... just don't have the stamina. Praying that will change and I'll be feeling better. I also have had arthritis since my mid twenties so I have a lot of pain issues.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I've done so many I've lost count... I've never reached the 5% loss but that doesn't keep me from participating and enjoying all the benefits of the challenge.

2 random fun facts about you? I joined SP the day before my 64th birthday, eight years ago this coming June. Lost 73 pounds the first 9 months and have mostly kept it off and learned to eat to live not live to eat. My intention is to lose more and be more active. My health is very important since we take care of our youngest grandsons (4 & 6) a couple times a week and my 91 year old mother lives with us so I have to take care of myself.

What do you like to do for fun? Read. Iím a Jane Austen fan and love reading spin-offs, alternate versions, vagaries, prequels, and just about anything Austen.

What diet are you following? Low carb, low sugar, healthy clean

What is your favorite exercise? Walking

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Decemberís sinus infection morphed into pleurisy and pneumonia in January and a six day hospital stay. I still have a few after effects that limit my workouts so I focus on what I can do and not on what I canít. My hope is to overcome an ankle limitation and be able to climb stairs so I can sing during Holy Week. The church is old, full of stairs and no elevator.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. Iíve done this a number of times on various teams. I actually did lose my 5% once and am determined to do it again.

2 random fun facts about you? Iím a Quaker who occasionally sings with a high church Anglican choir. Iíve sung with various choirs and choral groups at an international Advent Sing in Vienna, Westminster Cathedral London, Kings College Cambridge, the Cathedral of St John the Divine and St Thomas 5th Ave in NYC.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? I have had limited mobility for the last year. It took months for doctors to agree on a diagnosis, now to get them on the same page for a treatment plan!

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I just looked at my Sparkteams and saw that I've been doing these since 2015! I'm not sure I've ever lost 5% of my weight, but I always learn something and read interesting posts and blogs.

2 random fun facts about you? We have 2 rescue dogs who think they are people. I prefer shopping for tires than shoes!

About me: I am from North Carolina and live 6 miles from the city lines. Our little town is small and unincorprated. I am married and have two children, a son and daughter who are both happily married. Our son has 2 sons and we love spending time with all.

What do you like to do for fun? Play golf, read, online card games (Canasta is favorite)

What diet are you following? Counting calories as well as keeping the percentages suggested by Spark People ( 50 carbs,30 fat,20 protein)

What is your favorite exercise? Walking is definitely my favorite and I am OK with outside and have a wonderful and challenging place to walk next door to my home. This is also the golf course where I love to play. I now exercise at home with Dumbbells, Kettle Bell, Resistance bands, Large and small balance balls and I love using my True Recumbent bike in Winter. I love doing walk videos and find plenty on You Tube.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? My challenge will be getting more strength exercises to keep arthritus from crippling me in the future.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I have participated in several challenges and like doing them because they inspire me to do more while trying to help my team win each week.

2 random fun facts about you? I spent many hours in art classes doing acrylics, oils, watercolors and Calligraphy. I spent lots of time volunteering with our local Arts Council until golf caught up with me again. Now I volunteer but, in a Food Bank and feel it is where I need to be to help others.

Anything else you would like to share? I believe in God and feel this is the most important statement I can make. I am not perfect and never will be but know that God loved us enough to send his Son to be a sacrifice for my sins. God loves all his children and nothing is more important than this!

About Me: My husband and I currently serve as missionaries in Mexico among an indigenous people group who have their own culture and language. We are fluent in Spanish and conversational in the indigenous language. It's a challenge sometimes, but is truly where God has placed us for this time. (We previously worked in Peru.) We often tutor English as the need arises.

What is your name or nick name? Name is Sharon, have never really had a nickname (except for 1 friend, who calls me Share).

What do you like to do for fun? Bird watch, read, garden, see an occasional movie with my husband. I also decorate cakes and bake pies, but that has become more work than fun now that I'm older.

What diet are you following? Just trying to keep calories within range (trying to be faithful tracking in Spark when my internet cooperates), minimize sugar, eat as much natural food as possible. No whites. (I have a lot of things that have worked for me in the past and have some favorite ideas from all of them, but when it's a life change instead of a diet, your perspective changes a little. Keeping it simple.

What is your favorite exercise? Walking is definitely my favorite, especially when I can walk in a beautiful place (as in nature), but I also love Pizazz workouts from Faithful Workouts, Lucy Wyndham-Reed, Leslie Sanson, and a couple apps that push me a little. For years I never changed anything, and my body just got too used to that. These days I try to change it up now and then.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? I just turned 65, so there are some minor age-related things that are annoying--especially my knees. I have learned over the years, though, that IF there's a fountain of youth, it's exercise!!! Everything gets better if I get back into the routine.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. It looks like maybe I signed up for the Fall challenge but never carried through. (Won't bore you with details of just HOW CRAZY fall cranked up to be.) I have lost 5% of my body weight hundreds of times over and over again! LOL!

2 random fun facts about you? I LOVE TO LEARN!!! I think I would have to live at least 10 lifetimes to get to learn and do everything I would like to do. I feel like I've had 3 different careers (high school English teacher, IT training and development, and missionary), but would love to have a couple more! I think I'm running out of time. I was in Moscow when the Russian embassy was bombed. (random)

Anything else you would like to share? I have strong German roots . . . though the 2 generations before those who immigrated to the U.S. actually lived in Russia, so I grew up with some of both of those cultures. My father didn't know a word of English when he went to school, so I grew up hearing it spoken a lot at home--especially when my great aunts and uncles came over to visit. My mother was English/Irish, though, and she was also a French teacher. So . . . I know a little German, a little French, and a little Russian (when the law firm sent me to Moscow to teach the computer software to our Moscow office) in addition to English, Spanish, and Purepecha. The main thing, though, is that I remember hearing my older relatives talk about how precious it is to live in the United States and saw tears running down their cheeks when they did so. So when the rest of our country complain about everything, I think about what my life COULD have been like if my grandparents hadn't had the courage to immigrate. I've studied about the circumstances there, and we are SO BLESSED AS AMERICANS, problems and all . . . nothing to be compared to what they left behind.

That's hard for me cuz I don't usually like to talk about 'me'--but--I'll just say I am a 'retired pastor's wife', enjoying the life, taking care of my man and family, trying to take care of me too, LOL, used to do 'office work', loved outdoor activities, love life in general.

What diet are you following? To east sensibly, I've tried them all, so now I just use good sense and don't buy the no-no's---If it's not in the house, I can't eat it, right?

What is your favorite exercise? walking, I've tried the other systems and now, just enjoy walking

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? yeah--bad knees--really play tricks with exercise, even walking. But, we get the job done.

Anything else you would like to share? I have taught Bible classes in whatever church we have ministered in almost all of my life and love to teach. Love to fellowship with the women of the church--they are great people and I find them very interesting to fellowship with.
I was born and raised on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland--great way to 'grow up'. Walked out my back door, down the sidewalk, to our dock, and dove into the water----wow, what a great way to grow up.
Also had my own 'rowboat' and used to take it out into the water, pull in the oars and read in the summer sun---wow--what joyful days they werel.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Two actually. Limited & more gentle exercise due to my AFib. My work schedule is crazy once the Hope Bus is on the road, making it a challenge to find time to grocery shop, cook & exercise.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. Been doing them since 2014 & not always losing the 5% but I've not gained one lb. of the 54 I lost in 2014-15.

2 random fun facts about you? Every now & then I like to buy clothes or accessories that don't fit with my "granola-cruncher" wardrobe as a cousin calls it, resulting in co-workers or friends who don't recognize me! LOL The other is that Italian is my first language.

What is your name or nick name? I'm Kathy.

What do you like to do for fun? I love knitting, reading, and taking my dog Daisy for walks.

What diet are you following? I eat healthy and mostly unprocessed foods. I am trying out new recipes quite often and making more things from scratch.

What is your favorite exercise? I think right now it would have to be Pilates. I also love Yoga but it's more for relaxation than exercise.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? Right now my biggest challenge is this darn awful weather we are having. Daisy and I have only walked once in the last 6 weeks and that's so frustrating, which lessens my motivation for other things.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I have been doing the 5% challenges for a few years now. I love how it keeps me accountable to myself. Even during the in-between times when I do not have to track my exercise, I've developed a mind set to make sure I get exercise minutes in every day!

2 random fun facts about you? My son took me to Norway in 2017 and I was able to meet several relatives that I didn't even know I had. Which takes me to random fact #2 - I am working diligently on Ancestry.com to put together a history of my families. I want to leave documentation along with photographs for my children.

What do you like to do for fun? read, play piano, paint, do jigsaw puzzles on computer

What diet are you following? No particular diet, just counting calories, high fiber, and limiting sweets. I found some good menus for high fiber within my calorie range that are helping.

What is your favorite exercise? walking

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I've done several and got close to goal on the last one.

2 random fun facts about you? I'm a retired Kindergarten teacher. I went skydiving on my 72nd birthday.

What diet are you following? Ketogenic, not a diet though. It's really a lifestyle.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season? It's been a rough winter with a number of challenges; I am recommitted to finding my new normal and putting my health first.

If you did a previous 5% Challenge tell us about it. I've done several and have enjoyed most of them. My favorite was the Fall 2018 5% because of the team interaction, Interesting challenges and camaraderie.

2 random fun facts about you? I like researching and know a lot of useless information which I really like to learn!

Anything else you would like to share? Yes, I'd like to see some really creative weekly living the good life challenges along with some used before like:

A daily 10 minute meditation, one example would be the "Sa Ta Na Ma".

Make a list of at least 5 to 10 things you're greatful for each day.

Listen to music on a daily basis.

Can you make it through a day without complaining?

What diet are you following? Tough one. WW (Weight Watchers Freestyle) and intermittent fasting. Truth is I take ideas from a lot of diets I've had success with.

What do you like to do for fun?
Mostly I weave (specifically tablet-weaving) as part of my medieval recreation group, the SCA. That's actually where my username comes from. "Mistress" is the title awarded for recognition of artistic achievement.

What diet are you following?
The everything-in-moderation diet. Seriously, right now I'm working on making my breakfasts healthy and varied, but still affordable, and tracking everything. My lunches are mostly frozen dinners (with specific parameters for protein, calories, fat, and salt.) I'll eventually switch to bulk making my own lunches, but, for now, this is an option that keeps me on-track and away from the many tasty lunch options around where I work.

What is your favorite exercise?
At first I read "What's your favorite excuse," which probably says a lot. (My favorite excuse is that I'm tired.)

Exercise? I'm really loving my Thursday TRX class, especially since my real favorites (horseback riding and swimming) aren't available to me.

Do you have a personal challenge you are dealing this season?
Motivation is my constant challenge. On my lunch walks I pass dozens of delicious-smelling restaurants (there's really no way around them) so passing up the temptation gets super hard with any bump in my way.

2 random fun facts about you?
I think I've already included a few but here are a couple more:
I collect hand-made pottery, especially mugs. Much to my boyfriend's chagrin ;)
