Lu...hmm, I broke my ankle in over twenty places many years ago and it will flair up with pain sometimes. Since so much power comes from the ankles when swimming I find I have to use a buoy and do an arm work out. Having said that, I would certainly test it out to see if it hurts. If it does you might consider a buoy. Good luck and let us know what you do!

Hi Yall,
Im not asking for medical advice but I hurt myself and now I ended up with somewhat swollen ankles with little bit of pain I want to start back working out. I normally do like 78 laps = like an hr and a half. what would be a light work out but still hard core that I have a chance at losing weight at the same time workout during the healing process of this ankle situation.
