I have broken my plateau and am heading down again. There are many interesting suggestions in this challenge, several of which I am incorporating into my SOP. Thanks, SparkPeople.

I joined the challenge to learn ways to deal with this problem in a positive way without giving up. At my age I lose weight so slowly that its hard to stay motivated.

Never give up!

Hello, I need this challenge as I had been the same weight for about 2 months. Sunday I increased my recumbent bike time by about a minute and that seemed to be the magic bullet for this time. Due to various health challenges, I need to be super cautious in my exercise program so that I don't trigger major nerve inflammation and end up back at square 1. I have 80+ pounds to lose to get my blood sugar down from the 130's to below 120 every day, and to just be healthier in general. For me, the long range challenge is not in losing the weight. I've done it before, I can do it again. It will be maintaining the loss. That is where I've always failed before. I am hoping that the tracking and accountability here at SparkPeople will be the difference this time.
