Hi Kathryn!!

Thanks so much for sharing and posting! I'm so happy that you are here! :-D

We are a small AND mighty team and we encourage each other in our individual monthly goals, whatever they may be. Our theme for June is JOY in JUNE. Take a look at that thread and you'll start to get the idea of how we work. Just make sure you pick ONE small, reasonable and reachable goal. Make sure to have a plan and a back up plan. Your goal can be ANYTHING and does NOT have to be related to weight loss. It's whatever YOU want to work on this month.

Keep on posting and sharing! WELCOME!!

Welcome to the OMAT team! May was my first month doing an OMAT challenge, so I'm going to let the members that have been here longer answer the big questions about the OMAT challenges for you.

It's a very supportive and helpful team. Breaking our big goals down into smaller actions really helps. Hope you love it here as much as I do!

And, apologies! I meant to reply to the "Intros" topic, and wow, complete failure.

Wow, I hope I'm doing this correctly! I haven't really posted on any boards in any team forums as of yet. Well, until now. My name is Kathryn. I'm 28, a librarian, and I've recently moved to Pueblo, Colorado. I joined sparkpeople back in 2011, after I graduated from college with my undergrad degree, but wasn't ready to commit to a lifestyle change at that time. Back again, trying again. I thought this challenge/team looked like a good way to start. One step at a time, yes?
