That's the main thing I love about SP - the community, the support is absolutely phenomenal. Having a bad day? Blog about it or post on the message boards, and complete strangers will offer sympathy or helpful advice on how to change a bad day into a good day. Having a good day? There's a whole slew of cheerleaders here to be excited for you. It's amazing.

As long as you fit your midnight snacks into your calorie allowance and/or work out to compensate, it's not the end of the world! Especially if you turn those snacks into healthy ones. I personally don't keep anything unhealthy in the house any more - that way, when I get a snack attack, I have no option but to go for something healthy, or have nothing. :)

I need encouragement too - at home I have parents saying, 'Oh, ditch the workout, you don't need to do it so often' and hubby resisting every walk I ask him to come on with me, so SP has been wonderful for finding like minded people that spur me on to do better. :)

You're in the right place for support to change your lifestyle. You're not alone with your story. I am glad you're here and reaching out. Tracking is a great tool as is reading blogs, writing blogs, setting goals with your teams. emoticon emoticon

Hello, my name is Cindy and my goal is to lose 41 pounds, but I want to do it the right way. I have tried many quick loss diet remedies, with success but the weight came back on because I didn't learn how to change my lifestyle. So here I am recognizing that I need some encouragement to keep working on my goal. Here's what I am doing right so far: I love exercising, I track my foods but I struggle with midnight snacking! And food has always been a way to reward myself. So this is some brief info about me. Amazing that just my brief sharing has lifted my spirits.
