Hello. I have those days too. It has taken me a while to make progress but when I look at the progress it keeps me going. Realize that no one is perfect and everyone has off days. As long as you get back on track, it's ok. I'm a huge chocolate lover. What helps me is to keep a small stash and have a small piece every day, I know I can have a small treat but not over do it and keep up with the healthy eating. But, I won't let myself have it unless I do at least 10 minutes of exercise that day. It motivates me to be active and keeps me happy because I get my treat. Also make it a group thing so you have in-person support too. Grab friends or co-workers. My co-workers and I turned our own programs (not all are sparklers) into a friendly competition.... more motivation.

emoticon ANNOULAL and emoticon to SparkPeople and the team...Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Welcome aboard to our SparkFamily!

Start with small challenges such as drinking 8 glasses of water each day. Consider removing tempting foods from your home or at least making them a little less visible or accessible. On the other hand make veggies and fruits very visible and easy to grab when hunger strikes.

Keep coming back to your SparkFamily where you'll find oodles of support 24 x 7! :-)

Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself. The reason I am joining this active board is because I am feeling overwhelmed, sad, tired, and am not doing any exercise and/or eating well. Hoping to find some support here....Have a great day and a wonderful Father's Day!!
