emoticon CAROLINEHEART and emoticon to SparkPeople and the team...Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Welcome to our SparkFamily!

You've come to the BEST place on the 'net for all the knowledge, tools and BOUNDLESS support from others who've "been there, done that" and reclaimed a life worth living again.

And you can DO THIS TOO! You've gotta get on those dancin' shoes again! Think about the many ways you can live your life more fully if you shift your food and activity choices in the right direction.

You've already made a wise decision to post your quandary to the Team! That is how to get the MOST from your SparkFamily: ask questions, share your trials, tribs and SUCCESSES! Post questions, thoughts, blog on your SparkPage.

Step by step: you can DO IT!

Looking forward to hearing from you and having you share your SPARK! :-)

I feel very alone in my weight struggles. On the outside I present to the world a happy, friendly person yet inside I feel so inadequate and uncomfortable because of my weight. Food has been my comfort since early childhood and I struggle.
Last November I turned 70 and had promised myself I would not be fat for this birthday, but I was. I have raised 3 daughters as a single parent and between them, I have 6 very handsome grandsons ages 25 to 7.
My passion is sewing and all types of needlecraft. I used to dance but my weight and asthma keeps me from it. I don't want to talk about the things I used to do, I want to talk about the things I do now.
I have followed WW but lacked the dicipline and commitment to myself.
