emoticon WILDFLOWER1748 and emoticon to SparkPeople and the team...Nice to have you with us on the journey to a healthier lifestyle again.

You gain strength, courage and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face.

Mistakes are the portals of discovery.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Welcome back to your SparkFamily!

Kudos to rolling up the sleeves and committing yourself to working toward a healthier lifestyle!

Regarding workouts: the most important thing is to find an activity that you enjoy. Or if not that, at least find ways to make your workout more enjoyable. Nobody can stay committed to doing something unpleasant for very long. Sometimes it take some trial and error to find something that truly speaks to your spirit and it can pay to experiment and try new & different activities.

Keep the SPARK! :-)

I joined before and didn't succeed at following though with diet and exercise - I really need to succeed this time but I admit I don't have an actual diet to follow - atleast yet. My goal is to loose an additional 86 pounds (I recently lost 18 pounds due to taking Lasix for fluid retention), eat healthier food, and get into a daily exercise routine once I get approval from my doctor. I would like to lift light weights 3 times weekly and walk on the other days and just maybe also use an EasyGlider on some days because I know from previous experiences that I usually won't lose any weight unless I exercise. I joined this website because I know I can get support and some good recipes to help me through it all. I'm looking forward to succeeding this time.
