Best of luck with all your goals.

Are you still a smoker? If so, you really would feel so much better if you quit. When i was between 28-30 I had a pulmonary function test that determined my lung capacity was that of a 70 year old. They also told me if I didn't quit smoking I would be carting around an oxygen tank within the next 6 or 8 years. I felt horrible with my COPD. Used to have to set up on the side of my bed several times a night so I could breath. Had a collapsed lung once caused just from my harsh coughing.
The final straw was when I was hospitalized for 6 days in 2002. (i was 33 ). I said "enough is enough" and quit then.
I really do feel 95% better! Don't get me wrong, it was very hard- but also VERY worth it!

My thoughts are with you! Merry Christmas!

My goals are to be able to get myself to eat 3 square healthy meals a day with snacking in between. However I am a diabetic and a smoker who just found out a few years ago that I have COPD/ Emphysema . I was also diagnosed with major depression and anxiety. My goals is to lose weight but cannot to strenuous activities due to joint pain and arthritis. I need to get a little more active without sending myself into a breathing issue but also not to hurt my joints any further then they are right now. I need some serious help and guidance. I am hoping thus site can help me out. Thank you!
