Thanks. Wise words I will try and put into practice today. Emotionally a bit shaky. My dad had a serious stroke in Florida and my usual go to calmer is not on plan eating! I have a hard time eating right when I am not home or in control of available food stuff. But doing my best

Thank you. It is interesting to really look at how emotional situations affect wanting comfort in eating. My dad had a pretty bad stroke in Florida, survived w deficits, and it is distressing on lots of levels. My feelings are shaky and I am seeing that I calm myself w eating. Not anymore.

Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

It is never too late to be what you might have been.

Trying hard again to be healthy and full of the energy I need to live fully! Have lost weight through weight watchers..got down to 160s, but did not do what I need to to keep it off. I now weigh 188 through a combination of optifast and my mds advice for a month. I am weaning off the optifast shakes and transitioning to a healthy diet and exercise routine through spark people. My main challenges are staying organized and committed..especially on long days babysitting w grandchildren!
