Hi, Chrissy and a (belated! sorry) welcome to SP and to the NY team!

Losing weght can be difficult wth fibro so stick to your plan, take joy in every small accomplishment and know that persistence will get you to your goals! Finding low-impact exercise/activity is key to being able to create a flexible, enjoyble exercise plan. If you have access to a pool - a warm one is best (I use a 92-degree pool) - do consider taking advantage of the opportunity to enjoy exercising in water.

By the way,on your class team I saw your question to the leaders asking how to add the weight ticker to posts.
Go to your Start Page (use the left-most tab to reach it).
Click the words near the top at the left to reach account or email preferences.
On the next page, scroll down and make any changes you want to tailor how you use or see the site.

There are three tabs: account, email, and community.
Click 'community' because this is a sort of control center for your interactions with others:
Click 'Signature and Ticker'; make appropriate choices to suit you;
Be sure to check the box at the top for it to show.
Be sure to 'save' after making your selections.

Hi I'm Chrissy. I'm 33 and over weight. I have recently been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. After many failed attempts at losing weight I'm hoping this site will be helpful. Exercise is sometimes very difficult for me but I'm hoping tracking my food intake will get me on the track to losing weight.
