Don't be afraid to give your best at what seemingly are small jobs. Every time you conquer one it makes you that much stronger. If you do the little jobs well, the big ones will tend to take care of themselves.

Hi,
I'm Carol. I am a special education teacher from NY. I've been overweight for about twenty years. My goal is to lose 40 pounds to become healthier...I have high cholesterol and fibromyalgia (and all that comes with Fibro). My iinterests, as far as fitness is concerned, is biking and swimming. I have one knee replacement and will need the other replaced within a year. So it is difficult to walk...I am still bow-legged on the non-surgical knee...which leaves me 5/8 inch shorter on one side. The issue is that since i am 'lopsided', it effects my hip and lower back pretty severely...even with a lift. So I need some ongoing encouragement and tools to help me get started and stay active and to eat better so I can reach my goal.
