Josie - It sounds like you have a good plan, and I know it may sound hard when you look at the amount you need to lose. Just break it up into 5 or 10 pound segments, and only focus on the current segment. It won't seem nearly as impossible.

Good Luck, and keep us updated in your progress. This is a great team.

I'm Josie.
I am hard-wired to be a prodigal. I tend to waste my health, wealth, time, and life on extravagant things, comforting myself too much, and also rationalizing what I do, thereby deceiving myself into remaining fat and unhealthy. These things will destroy me over time if I do not change.

That is why I am here.

I have been creating a plan for lasting success, and having an accountability partner as well as a fitbit are part of my plan. I have also created a binder that includes:
*fitness routines
*a calendar with food and fitness plans
*a rewards system (with graph paper to count the stars I earn each day)
*my goals (focused on being strong and healthy, not weight loss goals)
*an art journal to record my thoughts and rewards I receive in a creative way

I have a LOT of weight to lose, and I am planning on it taking me about 2.5 years. Just the time alone can be discouraging, but with a friend along for the journey, I think the time will pass more quickly (or so it will seem).

I am looking forward to participating in this team. I believe that together we can reach all our goals much easier than trying to do it on our own.
