I don't keep beer in the house either not unless it is maybe a 6 pck of pony ( 7oz ) lite beer--altogether 42 oz is better than 60oz that a reg 6 pk has in it---but I try to do this only on special occasions--and I drink it with some peanuts or pork rinds and be done with it-Don't need any left over to tempt me the next day--

Hi Betty, welcome!!! I, too, have the beer problem...The Husb says it's good food. I don't keep it around the house much, anymore, because since The Husb was diagnosed with diabetes he doesn't drink it much, anymore, either. Just special occasions like Game Night With the Daughter and Her Friends. And then we have mimosas, too!! I have a lot of weight to lose and to get it going again I joined the 10 minutes a day challenge again. It does help me!

emoticon Betty! This team will help you reach your goals. Take them one step at a time and you will make it. I am older than you, slightly taller, but weigh just about what you do. I gave up alcohol except on extremely special occasions many years ago, so don't have that aspect of similarity, but if I can help you in any way let me know. May be we can help each other!

Hello everyone. My name is Betty and have been struggling for long time to lose the pounds. I live in cold Wisconsin and love Beer (go figure :)) I have come to the conclusion that beer must be cut out of my life (except for occassional weekend) and need to eat right and exercise. I will be 49 in July and this is my last chance. I'm at 160 now and am only 5'1". I have started eating right and am cutting out the alcohol and am incorporating exercise every day. I just need support and need to be accountable. I don't want to have marks on my skin anymore from too tight jeans and have shirts that are stretched to the limit so they are not form fitting and just tired of trying on fat clothes. Summer is coming and I want to be ready for it!!! Thank you all for support that I know you will give. emoticon

Change is good!!!!
