HI Everyone, my name is Sandra. I live in Alaska and it is getting colder out. The time I eat more. :(
3 years ago I started Beachbody's Insanity. I lost 30 # and have kept it off. I still need to lose 10 more. I am working on getting RIPPED. :D
I worked hard to be here! And I will work harder to keep going and not blow it. I do have treat times, and enjoy them.
I will be doing 21 day fix this month learning more on nutrition, which is were most of use blow it.

Hi I'm Becky!

September 1 is my first day to begin the Challenge. I love Challenges and this is one that I think I could use for sure! So many times I've discovered that when my weight loss slows down it's because I'm not eating enough!

I just took the Portion Distortion Quiz (again..and again) and I didn't do as well as I'd hoped! I'll take it again... and again until I get it seared into my mind!

Hi Sally, I know how it feels when you work hard to get the weight off and then it creeps back on. Sometimes you don't even realize it. You make an error here and there and all of a sudden you realize the total effect of all the little errors and it's not good news.
The good news is that you know where you went wrong and you know how and where to make the changes, You know the rules and the foods to have. Do a little planning and tweaking and you will be back right where you want to be again.

Hi, my name is Sandy. I have been a member of sparkpeople for a long time. I have lost a lot of weight and gained some back. Lately it seems that I have been on a "see food diet", you know, I see food and I eat it. It's time for the insanity to stop. I know what to do and how to do it to lose weight, I am just not doing it very well. I have the next week and a half off work and I am planning to use it to get myself back on track. I am looking forward to this challenge and learning some new tricks. And I am looking forward to making some new friends along the way.

Hi I'm Sandy 46 yrs old and i am here to lose weight and get more healthier. I am not new to spark as I been here since 2009 but took some time off and I rejoined back in March 2014. I tried s many yo yo diets and just can't find the right one for me. I know spark is and that why I came back. I want to eat more healthy and learn to love food again. My goal is to get below the 200 mark. Thanks for letting me join.

Hi everyone. My name is Laura. I recently had bypass surgery in March. I just finished out cardiac rehab last week. I learned a lot in cardiac rehab and I am hoping to be able to carry that over now on my own. I lost over 40 pounds while I was sick but I still have weight to lose and I need to continue to learn to eat healthier to help lower my risk for another cardiac event. I felt that this was a perfect challenge for me!

Hello, I am a single mother of two active boys, I been struggle with my weight. and with challenge will help me stay on track.
tracking it get hard after awhile or when you see the scale go down, I usually stop after that. I really don't have support or understand what it feels like.
My goals for the next 4 weeks are
stay within my calorie range which is 2470. but my aim is 1800
stay active for least 30 minutes everyday

Hi. I'm Liz. I joined in August at the same time I joined WW. I lost 15 lbs in the first couple of months but have been struggling ever since. Dropping out of WW as I don't think it's the best program for me. SP provides me with more information and support.

This week I began reading The Spark and it's made a huge difference to me.

Looking for ways to eat more veggies with the goal of reducing or eliminating consumption of animal products.

I'm new to the group but really excited to have found it! I'm a mommy to 3 little ones, work full time, and am about 8 weeks in to trying this whole healthy living thing again. (I had amazing results back in 2008 with Spark but somehow, life got in the way). So, here I am again. My husband and I quit smoking 3 months ago, started going to the gym 5 days a week for strength & cardio training, and now I am working on the nutritional side. It's weird, but that's the hardest part for me...I would rather work out 2-3 hours than track (and stay accountable for) what I eat. Safe to say, this hasn't been working. So here I am. emoticon

Hi! I'm Jen. I've lost 37 lbs in the last 8 months, and am hoping to lose another 40 lbs. I used to be such an "all or nothing" eater, so I strive to not be too restrictive...however I know that paying more attention to the quality and quantity of my food choices will help me lose my next 40. I am hoping this challenge will help me get there!!!

Hi! I'm ALSO Terri! LOL! I am 45 years old and find it harder to lose weight now that I am "middle aged." I've got the exercise thing DOWN. It's the FOOD part that I need. And along came this group! Perfect timing!

I live in Central VA at the foothills of the blueridge mountains... I love it every day! I have two active boys -ages 12 and 8 - who love to be active. I try to get out and play with them when I can.

I am finding that i never really ate a lot of veggies before and now that i am at goal weight i will be filling up on them for sure. I lost my last 20lbs because i got graves so now i need to eat really good.
