Hello! I was exactly like you - even at the same weight. I guess my range was anywhere from 150-160. I could down a few but always seemed to come back up. I have now reached my goal and am aiming for a new one (that I never thought possible!!).

Like Holly, I was going to say "try it", but she already said that.

The thing is that when you get the idea that all calories are the same, then anything that adds to the same number of calories is the same. But it isn't. Your body's reactions to different calorie sources is very different.

Sugar and other carbs have an insulin reaction, to keep your blood sugar from going too high. Insulin deals with that by helping store it away, both into lean cells, but also into fat cells. So body fat gets into a fat lockdown mode in the presence of insulin, and it starts with excess carbs.

I fully understand that trying to burn extra calories (through exercise) in order to loose weight is frustrating. Try Keto for just three weeks and see if you don't start loosing some of that body fat.

hi Yeeha!!
i couldnt lose weight either..until i changed my entire way of eating to keto..and then, i lost 132 pounds. i struggled for YEARS!!! I'm VERY strict with myself..not hard to do when i'm feeling so good and had such good results!! I'm in a holding pattern now, food is no longer the boss of me, and all i can say is..try it!!

Hello All!
I am a 45 year old female who CAN NOT lose any weight. I haven't been tracking anything and I try to eat healthy options 80% of the time, however, I can not lose any weight. I have been stuck at 155 for the past 1.5 years. I have a sedentary job, but have been either walking/jogging 3 miles at least 2-3 times a week or using my Bowflex Max trainer that often. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have not tried keto before, but have read a lot of books on the subject and listened to numerous podcasts, so I feel I am ready to try this!
