Welcome emoticon

Yay... I like virtually hinney kicking emoticon Have you had a chance to check out the different threads? Our James especially has quite a bit of info here.

The first thing I would do while you are gathering information here and abouts is to go through the cupboards and clean out any obvious nonketo foods.... things like sweets and such, if you have them. Ask plenty of questions.

Again welcome.... we are glad you are here.

Dr. Jason Fung: "Holy consensus, Batman. With so many 'experts' from Michelle Obama to the USDA to virtually all of the medical professionals (including doctors and dieticians) agreeing that 'Eat Less, Move More' is the way to go, you might think that it is 100% unquestionably true. But here's a queer thought... if we all agree that we know the cure for obesity, and we've spent billions on educations and programs - why are we getting fatter? In other words, why does this 'cure' suck so bad?

I am soon to be 66 yrs old with a weight problem for approximately . I am married with one daughter and three grandkids. I live in Ontario Canada. I am a very busy person but not necessarily physically active. I recently had surgery on both knees so am limited even on the amount of walking I can do at any one time. I play golf in the summer and am considering joining the pickle ball group once I am moving more freely.
I am not sure I totally understand Keto yet. I have not officially started Keto yet. I have been trying to do a little homework on it first. James has promised to kick me when I need it and I appreciate that however I currently need multiple kicks as I tend to waver VERY easily at the moment. I know it is a matter of keeping my head in the game but I am distracted easily. So feel free to help James with the butt kicking. It will help me and be an exercise for you. LOL
