Interesting.... I haven't finished reading the articles... just skimmed...but I plan on reading them later. It's, I understand, what they call moderate keto since if beans and such are added, you would have a hard time getting down to below 30 carbs as nonvegetarian keto dieters usually do. I like the plan. I still tend toward vegetarian....I'm really not a big meat lover. You will definitely have to tell us how it goes. The recipe looks good and with the butter and sesame oil it should be good with the fats. I may have to make some today since I have plenty of cabbage right now due to St. Patty sales. You will have to get wasabi. It's become a favorite of mine and I highly recommend. Yes, 3.2 net carbs is good.

BTW... when posting links, you need to delete the http in front. I guess it's just a glitch of SP.

OMG this was SO good!!. I made it without the meat and I didn't have wasabi so subbed mayo & spicy mustard. I can definitely do this one for many meals emoticon !
And, in spite of the comments, when I put it in to the SP Recipe I came up with 176 cals, 4.2 g carbs, 1 g fiber & 8.2 protein for 1 cup. So, if I understand net carbs, it comes out to 3.2 net. Yes? That's good, isn't it?

Are you a vegan? I would be interested in how a vegetarian keto would handle getting within range of the macros. You will have to tell us more.

I just joined this team a few minutes ago but have been researching the keto diet for a couple days now. I'm also a vegetarian. I've done the South Beach diet a couple times but I need something a bit more drastic, I think. I am 55 yrs old and my weight has been stalled. I'm tired of it!
So I am SO ready for this!
