Welcome.

As you've noted, eating Keto is a very healthy way to control, or indeed probably prevent type-2 diabetes. I know this personally as I am a type-2 diabetic, and have controlled my blood sugar for close to six years by eating Keto. It was 12 years of pills before that, with poorer blood sugar control.

i'm back as well. I lost then gained it back. Lots of good info here in forums and recipes.

I've attempted this eating lifestyle some time ago and didn't stick to it. Instead, I went vegetarian and did well at it. However, I found myself craving fat and protein. Go figure. So, the past couple of days I've started back to this way of eating. Last night for the first time in (I can't even remember) I didn't crave a snack of any kind. WOW.

So, here I am. New to this group and REALLY HOPING that this group is active and not idle like so many that I've investigated. Please tell me that you are all quite active in communication. Please?!!?

I'm 52 and have 140 pounds to loose. I am also pre-diabetic. This lifestyle is imperative to my health and I need all the advice and suggestion I can get. Oh, and, by the way, my mother is a diabetic and this will help her also.

Health is mine to own.
