The link posted just below is not a reputable site (it's a click bait site)... the pictures/text have been ripped off from other keto sites (Diet Doctor primarily), as well as other diet sites (promotes all sorts of diets), and the person who has posted just below my comment here is the person who has ripped them off (it's his click bait site)!!!

@JOSEPHN0703 I don't know what your angle is, but copyright infringement is an actionable offense, and I've reported your website to Dr. Andreas Enfeldt, the owner of Diet Doctor.

...and if you keep posting plagiarized information here on SparkPeople, I will report you to Spark Admin as well (and I did)!

UPDATE: The person who posted the clickbait site has had their post (and have themselves been) removed from this thread. If you see JOSEPHN0703 posting anywhere else report him to Spark Admin!

Dr. Jason Fung: "Holy consensus, Batman. With so many 'experts' from Michelle Obama to the USDA to virtually all of the medical professionals (including doctors and dieticians) agreeing that 'Eat Less, Move More' is the way to go, you might think that it is 100% unquestionably true. But here's a queer thought... if we all agree that we know the cure for obesity, and we've spent billions on educations and programs - why are we getting fatter? In other words, why does this 'cure' suck so bad?

Hi, I'm new here. I'm a Type 2 Diabetic like -JAMES-.
I started following Dr. Eric Berg's Program 12/22/16
Dr. Berg says, GET HEALTHY to LOSE WEIGHT "NOT" LOSING WEIGHT to GET HEALTHY

He has a lot of videos on Youtube like these:
How Much Fat Do I Eat: Ketogenic Diet?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fx_8f_YulKg
Do We Really Need Carbohydrates?
www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXF4iD3O_oA

I joined this team because I need support and I want to be around like minded people as far as The Keto way of life. I have a lot to learn just like most of you.
My everyday Goal is to Eat: 5% Carbs, 20 to 25% Protein and 60 to 70% Fats
I try to get this in everyday:
1) Drinking 2 cups of water with a lemon wedge of juice, 1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar with half tsp. of sweetener twice a day.
2) Eating about 7 cups of green leafy vegetables a day. Either in salads or smoothies or steamed.
3) I have 3 to 4 oz of protein with each meal.
4) I add fats like butter, coconut oil, olive oil and avocados.
NO Starches or Sweets of any kind. NO fruit for now.

James will probably lead you to the best places to study. I started out dropping to 50 NET carbs for a while to ease in. Now I try and stay around 20ish. What a difference in my ability to lose weight! We have been gluten free for several years too. I did a lot of reading about health and came to some amazing realizations about carbs and what insulin does to your health. I'll turn 60 in a couple of months and don't want to be stuck on the couch!
I saw the good info on dietdoctor too. It's good to start reading up on all that involves KETO.
