Hi, I am 27 married and in college. I have been trying to lose weight off and on for 2 years and I keep yo yo dieting. Last year I injured myself and went to a chiropractor and he told me to get off gluten. This started the worst year of my life. But it was going to happen sometime so at least it's over now. Long story short I can't eat gluten and I have Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome which is part of the reason I wasn't able to lose weight. Anyway I was put on a diet to help with the PCOS and lost 17 lbs in about a month and a half. Then I derailed myself when stressing out over catching up on my school work and finals. Now I have 5 months of school left and I've decided to skip graduate school so I am going to focus on my health this semester and just get C's instead of A's. I will be partnered with my husband and my goal is to lose 50lbs by Dec. 20th, 2013. My side goal which I don't know if it is realistic or not is to have a BMI of 25-30 by this time too. Now that you have my life story I really love this website and from what I read it will be the key to sustaining my motivation and not letting me talk myself out of being healthy and happy again.
