Welcome to SparkPeople and thans for posting. You'll find thousands of folks on the site who have specific knowledge in many different areas. We welcome you to look around the different groups and join those akin to your needs.

For now, try to change one thing today then change something else after the first becomes easy. I find that a "streak" will help me stay with it as I watch the number of days get larger in the streak.

Set goals, such as 10 minutes of exercise per day, tracking all your calories every day, etc. Just do a little each day and be consistent and you'll see great dividends in the coming months.

Just joined and looking for something, anything to help. I've tried losing before, but really need to get serious about it. With so much going on with family right now and some good things going on, I figured it's a great time to get good about my health and change things around there. I have type 2 diabetes, blood pressure controlled with meds as well as cholesterol, a family of picky eaters (child with disabilities so there are foods she cant physically handle and a husband who hates vegetables in the house unless it's a baked potato). I seriously need to make a goal and stick to it this time!
