Hi! I'm a newbie to the group thing. Have been using SparkPeople for a few years... but never very consistent. :(
I'm currently a nursing (RN) student. I graduate in December. I haven't decided what I want to do yet. I really enjoyed my OB L&D rotation but I think I'm headed down the nurse anesthetist road so that means I have to head to the ICU for some experience! Exciting!
Hoping to have a plan and STICK TO IT this time around! Glad to see a group like this!!!

UCLA_DOC,welcome to the team.................wishing you all the best reaching your goals............blessings and hugs.........lita
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results. When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness.

Hi. Glad to have you on the team. You have a great start on your wt. loss. I am now retired with a background of an ED RN and Nursing Supervisor who worked nights and got my bio-rhythms out of kilter now having to lose weight. SparkPeople is great site and the tools avalable work well. Sending best wishes on your journey to a healthier lifestyle. And best wishes on your Residency work.

Slow & steady makes a winner of us. Even if we hit pitfalls, get up. Know that a new day is right around the corner. Try to be all that you can be. Work at it a day at a time.

Hey guys, I'm new to this group. A little bit about me ... I'm a 27-year-old female physician currently doing my residency training in radiology. I've lost almost 47 pounds since February and am more than halfway to my goal. Looking forward to "meeting" you all!
