Thank you!
I was happy to serve our country. So unfortunate that the country was so divided at the time.

I can't control any sweets anymore. Not just chocolate.

Good luck to you! I wish you the best.

Hey TK49ONPLAN I like what you found on SPARKPEOPLE about saying no at the store. Hopefully that will help me too. I like some of the Weight Watchers desserts but haven't tried the Skinny Cow ones yet. Les I also thank you for your service.

Thanks for your service Les! I have a difficult time with chocolate too! I try so hard not to bring it into my house. I like what I read on Sparks about saying "no" one time at the store vs "no" many times in the house....I have purchased the weight watchers and skinny cow frozen treats to help me on my weight journey.

By the way everyone, I'm Les! I really do need some help with this challenge. I would like to be successful sometimes in my life. Doesn't seem to happen as often as I'd like. That's just me! When I look around and see what I have, good wife, good son, and a 16 year old Yorkshire Terrier, PJ. He's good also. We're married 38 years. March 26th will be 38 to be exact. emoticon I'm a Vietnam Veteran! Served with the U.S. Air Force for 5.5 years and 1 yr. at Tan Son Nhut AB, near Saigon in 1969.
I retired from U.S. Customs and Border Protection 10 years ago. I recently volunteered at our County SPCA walking the dogs. Had to give it up because of a herniated disc in my thoracic spine. I really enjoyed it, but some of those big dogs are strong and will pull you unexpectedly if you're not paying attention. Even though they have the worst reputation, the pit bull mixes are really strong. But, I have found them to be the most lovable. I've never had an incident with one, I think they're the best. But then , I like all of the dogs that are there. Time to quit, need to get off this computer. Looking forward to having conversations with all of you! Bye for now! Les-------

Hey Ron, know what you mean about those oreo cookies. I gave them up a while ago because l found out I have Celiac disease. But now I'm hooked on M&M's. Can't have the ones with pretzels in them, but I can have plain and peanuts. But, I really need to substitute them with something nutritious and healthy.

Les

I'm Ron, I once an illicit affair with Oreo cookies. I still in love with them but had to break it off for me and my family's sake. Every time I go to the grocery store, I avoid the cookie section because the site of Oreos is just too much for me.

Great job, TINA. I gave up soda about 30 years ago and especially now that i know what's in it, I have no trouble staying away from it. Do you ever wonder what would happen if you never saw another ad from the big companies who push soda on our kids? I'll bet that we wouldn't be thinking of it so many times thru the day. Glad to hear that some of the schools are taking the soda machines out. It's a start.

I'm addicted to diet soda's and ice cream and cookies! I think it's more of a comfort thing. Need to get rid of both.

I'm addicted to diet soda so I'm proud of you for giving up sodas. Way to go. I'm not much on cookies unless they're the only sweet thing in my house then I'd be on them "like white on rice". I'm so happy for your success. Keep it up!!!
