Great idea starting this diet. I don't diet anymore, but I loved this plan as it is so simple!
Check the old postings...lots of good ideas. Also check out the Facebook page.

It's not very active right now since they started charging dr anderson for his postings. But the old postings are very informative. And of course there is his online program:
have a great start!

Hi, I am a long-time Spark member - too long - years and years emoticon This morning I decided to start tracking my food intake again because I'd slacked off several months ago. The 5 lbs. I gained were like a wake-up call. To be honest, I'd quit my teams because I didn't see anyone focusing on why we were all there: to eat right and lose weight. I didn't want another social media page, I wanted a team that was focusing on health and weight loss goals. Today I started looking at teams and came across this one. I had not heard of The Simple Diet - even though I thought I'd tried every diet known to man. So, I looked it up on the internet and found it very interesting. Read the reviews on Amazon and was very impressed with all the positives! Overall, it sounded like everyone who bought the book was WELL PLEASED. I ordered it and eagerly await its arrival. I am hoping TSD may be what I've been waiting for - easy to follow and stick with, inexpensive and results-oriented. I can't wait to read the book emoticon I should have it in 3 days. emoticon

I should mention that I have lost weight while on Spark but the problem is me - I never stay with it long enough to reach my goals and then I gain the weight I lost back emoticon . My only concern with TSD is that it is just me and my husband at home. I am a little concerned about how I can manage feeding him regular meals and zapping my frozen dinner in the microwave. That could get old very fast. I can't put him on the meals because a) he wouldn't like it and b) he's actually a little on the skinny side. Any one have some advice they could give me on overcoming this hurdle? Guess my only other question is: is this an active team. It seems like there hasn't been much posting lately? I'm hoping it's just because of the holiday season and everyone being busy with that.

I look forward to any suggestions/tips, etc. you can give me as I go forward with TSD. I think I must be a little nuts starting it right before Christmas emoticon . I might just get off to a slow start because of that but if I can achieve a substantial weight loss - say 15 lbs. - by the summer, I'd be very satisfied.
