Welcome back! You're doing great. Keep up the good work!!

I love live baseball, but unless it's a big game, watching even the Sox on TV drives me batty (yep, I said it.). I listen to the boys on the radio while I: mow the lawn, clean the house, hit the treadmill. Uh-oh, sold my treadmill this year. Will have to listen while walk/run/hike/biking now!

I have a good feeling about this year. The boys are looking a lot more like the 'idiots' of '04. They are working together instead of fighting with each other. Here's hoping!!!

Patriots, Red Sox, Keto, Zumba, Highland Games are my passions. I may live in Oregon but my heart still roots for Boston!!

Welcome back!

I have a little workout technique that I use during the season. I get on the treadmill at the beginning of the game. When the Red Sox are batting, I increase the incline with each batter. When the other team us up, I increase the speed with each batter. Whenever there is a break in play, I use HIIT - I go really fast, then bump it up to as fast as I can go for the last 30 seconds or so.

Two seasons ago, I lost 56 pounds doing this. Last season I was lazy, so I've put about 20 pounds back on. This season I will do it again! Ready for the season to start!

I'm a newly returning Sparker and lifelong Red Sox fan. Looking forward to an exciting season with a scary lineup and hopefully solid pitching. I will be working to my progress on my own running and weight loss goals. My spring training has gone well so far as I have lost 27 pounds and ran my first road race (5k) since 2009 last Sunday. Go SOX!
