Lois - I know your situation. I have had bi-lateral knee replacement, R.A. and shoulder replacement. There are some wonderful seated exercises that you can use to get your heart rate up! Google "chair exercise" for some free videos on youtube.

Try the nutrition tracker. I find it easy to use. Best of luck!

I don't have any antisipation of losing a great deal of weight. My body simply doesn't let me do a lot of exercise, with increasing arthritis and a knee that evenually will need replacement. The other one has already been done.
I do however want to keep from gaining weight and want a way to track what I eat each day. Keeping a food diary just doesn't seem to work for me.
I have 2 brothers and a sister, all who have diabetes. So far I have not developed it. I hope by watching my food intack now, i can control that, at least a little.
