Failure can cripple us or motivate us. The key is how we use it. If you get off course - use it to show you how NOT to do things and where you NEED to change to get back on course :)

I can say I've been where you are. And I guess, for me, it came down to having a motivator. At the time I joined Spark and really committed to losing weight, I had my daughter's wedding I wanted to look good for. Now, periodically, I still try on my bathingsuit a few times a month. I keep pictures around of when I was at my heaviest.

What do you think would motivate you to stick to it?

Just joined spark today - I have to say that I have been in a rut for months now. I would like to know if anyone has some words of encouragement. I am my own worst enemy and even though I am so sick of myself I struggle with motivation. Maybe I am afraid of failure again - I know what I need to do it is doing it and sticking with it. I am even a member of curves for 3 months now but everyday I drive past the exit and go home. Anyone been there? What helped you?
