Hi Kathy!!

So glad you posted! Isn't funny how we think we need more food than we actually do. Geneen Roth has some great books out there. I read Eat What You Love and Love What You Eat. It is also a great book! I love podcasts, so I'll have to look for those!

I have decided to never diet again and with eating mindfully I don't have too! I have lost 18 pounds in the last month, eating when I am hungry, making good choices to fuel my body and exercising. It works! I look forward to getting to know you!

Hello!
I'm glad to find this group. What a concept...eat when we get hungry and stop when we are satisfied. It's harder than it sounds...but will be so worth it....to live a normal life, like a thin person does, without obsessing about food 24/7.
I am reading some great books on the subject..Geneen Roth has a few...I have also downloaded some free podcasts on the subject to listen to while I walk or while I'm driving.
I'm amazed at how little food it actually takes to satisfy me...the trick is to stop at that point...it is definitely a work in progress, but I am so excited to not be dieting, yet still losing weight.

Hi! I was a member on Spark about a year ago, and was very involved. I had my own team, but then dropped out of sight. I decided to re-join Spark yesterday. I took the "Am I Hungry" Workshop partially in my local area last year. Anyway, I'm excited to join this team, and hope to connected to some others who struggle with emotional eating.
