Hey Dorothy! I have done every diet under the sun, including weight watchers. I can lose weight but somehow lose my motivation. This site goes along with the weight watcher program very well using alot of the same tools and even some better ones. I am not sure how the points compare to calories, but I bet it is close. I love the way the nutrition page on here lets you journal then breaks down everything for you, helping you fine tune your program. You can do this Dorothy and so can I! Let's get it done. Let's do this right and for the last time. Let's learn the difference in dieting and life style changing! Best of luck!

One bite at a time, one step at a time! One day at a time!

hi dorothy! i'm new as well and look forward to following your weight loss journey and hope you'll follow mine through my page (my blog is where i'll mostly be writing)!
my mom was on WW for a looong time and lost a lot of weight, i'm glad it worked for you as well! 18 lbs is GREAT and you're sure to drop those "summer lbs" with ease once you get back into working out and eating right!!

Hello all! I am brand new to this website and would love to make connections with others to help me keep on track and share information and experiences. I am a lifetime Weight Watcher but since they have changed their plan from Momentum to Points Plus I have not had great results. Although I still love the old program and will continue to count points, but since I am no longer a WW online member which I enjoyed so much I thought Spark People might help also.. I lost 18 lbs last year and have gained 7 lbs back after this wonderul summer.. I need to get re focused and motivated to stay that way. I am a wine lover which I have successfully figured out a way to incorporate in my life on a weekly basis but over this past summer lost that battle. Now that Sept is here I feel I need to get back to what I know works but would love some daily support.. Welcome all!
