Welcome. I agree one day at a time. Step by step we will all achieve our goals. Just recently had total knee replacement,. Hoping to be able to move without pain soon. A long road ahead of me. We can do this

Welcome ladies and good luck. I am in the same boat. I need to lose about 150 pounds or so. I have had a hard time since I had my second child almost nine years ago. I am working on getting my portions under control again. I do really well with the exercise though.

2016 I will hit the gym 6/7 days a week. I will eat more protein, fruits and veggies. I will really cut back on the carbs.

Hello and welcome to SP!! Good to have you! I have almost 200 lbs to lose and taking it one day at a time is all I can handle too! Congrats on losing the 50 lbs on your own! I had lost over 70 lbs but fell into a depression and gained most of it back emoticon I'm back at working on one thing at a time until I have the healthy eating down pat again! SP is the most positive place to get support that I have ever seen! The support here is fantastic and this team is great for it! Indygirl (Beth) and NewSparkDebbie (Deb) are terrific at cheering you on and giving good advice!

I have over 100 lbs to lose now at about 240. I have taken off 50 lbs on my own but really feel like I need some community to check in with and see advice and challenges that others have and overcome losing 100 lbs or more.

Very inspiring and supportive. I am hoping that posting and reading what others post will help keep me on track. This is a long journey and I personally can only take this ONE DAY AT A TIME! Any further ahead than that and I just would get overwhelmed so I will just focus on today and check in as often as possible.
