Welcome Back SPIRITWOLF32 emoticon

I'm sure that you have read most of Beth's story and know that she was very much in the same shape as you when she began. There are many here on SP that started with what seemed like insurmountable odds and took baby steps along the way to where they are now.

It takes a lot of courage to step out and admit defeat in the past, so find that courage and determination that got you back here, share your story, and begin again, and you have what you need to succeed....... DIG DEEP into that pot of determination and ask for help here when you start to fall. This is a fantastic Team!

I am so very glad to see you and look forward to watching you win this battle one day at a time! emoticon emoticon emoticon

emoticon to spark and I wish you success. I have found what helps me is tracking my nutrition in the nutrition tracker and if you are able to exercise track it in the exerciser tracker.

Hello SPIRITWOLF, Welcome back. I believe you can find the support you need here to help yourself be healthier. Can I start by by suggesting you check out the Chair Exercise Team as well. Emma has great resources and videos for people who have trouble with weight bearing exercise for whatever reason. You deserve to be happy and healthy, and we can support you along the way.

Hello everyone,

I love words and tend to write a lot of them but I will try to keep this as short as I can.

When I was in the hospital last November I weighted 552 and I'm sure my weight has gone up since then. (Hence why I put my start weight at 580) I'm going to talk to my doctor about a way to weight myself monthly and see if there is a way I can do that, so hopefully I will be able to update at least that often.

I also have Lymphedema which grows constantly putting weight on me so the weight gain was inevitable. From what I know just the Lymphedema alone is close to 100 pounds of my weight.

But frankly, I'm tried of being stuck on my bed all the time and I know I need to be healthier. I just turned 40 years old last week and I know if I don't turn my life around now I may lose that chance to finally be happy with my life. I'm miserable all the time and I haven't been anywhere but the doctor or hospital in a long time. So it's been hard for me and I feel stuck and have no idea how to get out of this hole I'm in.

The main problem I have is affording the healthier food that I need, but also with the Lymphedema being as bad as it is, I can't move around very well at all to get much exercise. These are the things I need to work on and I need constant motivation because I get really depressed and tend to just give up. I don't want to continue the cycle so I'm returning to SparkPeople after seven years to try again. I don't want to give up this time and really need help to keep me going.
