Like you I also suffer from RA and Fibro. It took me a year to digest & accept it. Now I'm dealing with Scoliosis and degenerative disc disease. There is a lot of support here. We can do it. Take it one day at a time, step by step. emoticon emoticon

emoticon to the team. I'm pretty new to the team but not to Sparkpeople. I lost 35 pounds with Sparkpeople in 2008 and then gained it all back and then some when my Fibromyalgia worsened. I feel SO much better when I'm eating sensibly and getting gentle exercise. This HAS to be a way of life for me not just a way to lose weight.

Jump right in. Lots of friendly people here to offer support.

Welcome back! My story is similar to yours. I joined SP in February 2012 and lost 30 lbs. Since then I have gained a lot of it back much to my chagrin. I have had fibromyalgia for many years but I have learned to adjust my lifestyle to it or to forget about it! lol Iam also diabetic and I can't ignore that! I just had my checkup and my AI1C has gone from 6 tp 7.5. That goes up as my weight goes up. So I am determined to start fresh and get back on track.
This is the place to get healthy!

Hi, I'm Jacquelin, from Canada ( Victoria, BC). I have been around SP for a while - in fact lost 50 pounds 18 months ago. Of course I have regained that and more, and I am determined to make some lasting changes, but really slowly and one step at a time. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia about 18 months ago, as well. I had been on a great path of eating healthy and training for a half marathon. It threw me for a loop and I have been really struggling since then. I got on the scale and realized I am almost 300 pounds. After a great huge cry, I am ready to make some changes and improve my health.

One good choice at a time.
