Welcome! I am 34 years old and wanting to lose at least 75 pounds in a year. I have family that live in Kansas =)

I hear you about cooking meals for 1. If my husband has to work late, and my son isn't home (he's 16), than I tend to just eat snacks for dinner or go take out. But a good idea I was given is to just go ahead and make a regular meal and freeze it or just out right plan on eating it over the course of several days. It helps =)

Oh and you could try some exercise at home while the kiddo is home. I visited with my brother and brought along my Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds DVD and my little nieces who are 5 and 2 had so much fun doing them with me hehe.

I am 32 years old. I live in Kansas. I have a four year old son. I want to loose 100 pounds and I'm giving myself one year to do it. I'm hoping that this program and the teams I joined can help me do it. My husband is an over-the-road truck driver and hardly ever home. So, most of the time I am doing it all on my own. I find it very difficult to cook healthy meals for one, and to find time for exercise. I have joined a gym in my town and try to get to their zumba class three times a week. I am anxious for school to start so that I can find more gym time.

God has given me this day to use as I will. I can waste it or use it for good. What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it. When tomorrow comes this day will be gone, forever leaving in its place something I have traded. I want it to be gain, not loss; good, not evil, in order that I may not regret the price I paid.
