Hello everyone,

My name is Joseph, I'm an 18 year old currently living in San Diego, and I am trying to meet my weight loss goal by the end of September when I begin to attend college. I originally intended to find a calculator to see how many calories I burn while jogging, but I lucked out and found this whole community instead!
I am 6'1 and I currently weigh 220 lbs, despite cutting down on junk food and doing moderate exercise (2-3 times a week). As of recently I started a more intense exercise plan, doing 40+ minutes of exercise a day, 6 days a week. I plan on losing 20-40 lbs by the end of the summer in order to hit a more healthier weight and stay at that weight, and I'm hoping I can find some support with meeting my goals here on SparkPeople. I look forward to meeting everyone!
