Why is a raven like a writing desk?
"I think you might do something better with the time, than wasting it in asking riddles that have no answers." Alice talking to the Mad Hatter... I like Alice in Wonderland too. ;)

Hmmmm. You may want to reach out to one of the coaches on Sparkpeople, like coach Jenn. Try clicking the about us link at the very bottom of the page and see if you are able to reach out there.

It may be adjusting the time based on the weight lost per week. Spark people allows for a a two to three pound weight loss each week. So if you were setting your weight loss to be greater than that, spark will encourage you to slow down.

If that is the case, I would encourage you to heed the advice. Losing weight, like in the biggest loser, is not beneficial in the long run of healthy living. Statistics show a slow pound to three pounds a week allows the body to adjust.

I keep entering my weight and my goal weight and the date I want to reach my goal date and when I save changes it changes the date for me to some other date. I keep going back and selecting the date I want and it still changes it ugh! So now I dont know how many calories I need to really be consuming a day to lose weight. Annoyed ;(
