My name is Nicole, I am 28 and live in Seattle WA. In early June I embarked on a 1 Year Challenge to take and keep off the weight, more than 100 lbs. A few weeks in I took up running, after 6 weeks of training I ran and finished my first 5K, my 10K is in early September, my half Marathon is at the end of November and my Marathon is next June. As of today I am 11 weeks into my journey and going strong! As of last week I was down 30 lbs/10%/ and at my lowest body weight. My body has turned into a fat burning machine, my pulse rate is in the mid 30's, I was in the ER for hip pain last week and they gave me an EKG because they were so worried- their finidings: I am an athlete in endurance training.
