Welcome Ichoosechange. We are happy to have you join our little team.
You will notice that myself and Gabby are starting c1 again this time around and we have a lot of people joining us, so you will get lots of support while doing this along with us.

Good luck and let us know every day how it is going. The support system here is phenomenal.

Today is my first day on this diet and in the group, as well. emoticon

It looks like several of you guys have had some real success with this plan, I'm excited to see how well it works for me. I've been a sugar addict for a long time, and really hope that I can stick with this plan long enough to break free of those cravings and binges. Day One is nearly over, I've done pretty well, I think, other than struggling to get all 8 glasses in. I can remember ever having made this many trips to the restroom in one day!

I think Gabby and everyone else who answered this post said it all.

This is a great team and everyone works together to help and motivate each other. Remember we are all in this together and we (the leaders) are just the same as you, we are in here to be motivated and to lose the weight. That is what I mean by a team, we are all in that one big boat and we are all rowing to success.

Welcome to our family and grab an oar lol.

emoticon There are a couple of topics in the forums dedicated to tips so I suggest that you look around and especially check out the topics that are "sticky's".

I have a bookshelf of diet books and have tried too many diets to count. This is the only one that I have been able to stick to and can see myself doing for life. It's not a fad diet and it's not a low carb diet. It teaches you to eat healthy by avoiding processed foods and artificial sweeteners.

Reading the entire book, referring back to it, posting here for support, and planning your meals ahead, are keys to success. Other tips are in those topics I mentioned. Our co-leader Terri works about 60 hours a week and she has been very successful on this plan and there are others as well who have very busy schedules and manage to stay 100% compliant.

The first few days are the worst because you may experience detox symptoms. Extreme fatigue and headaches are not uncommon so be prepared. If you do experience symptoms, rest assured that one day you will wake up and feel better than you have in a long time. I have CFIDS/finbromylagia and have more energy now than I had in years and lost 40 lbs!

Welcome! I have 2 kids as well but only one is scheduled (the other is in college). I can't seem to say no though... How does a parent say no to chess club? piano? sports? dance?

Right now her only day off is Sunday. Monday is undirected practice, Tuesday piano and ballet, Wednesday private sport lesson, 2 group classes and undirected practice, Thursday is another private lesson, Friday a different sport, and Saturday 2 group lessons. Add in 4th grade and it's hectic PLUS she thinks she wants do do theater with her friends (no! I can say no - because of 2 weeks of tech week the schedules will crumble).

Hi; nice to meet you! I am new as well - I am prepping and stocking the house this weekend, and plan to start cycle 1 on Monday! So excited; I have wanted to get the weight off for years... instead it's lingered (or yo-yo'd); my husband was almost killed a year ago this month in a horrible car wreck, and with all the life changes we've seen since then I've packed on another 50 (YIKES!) lbs just this year alone. I am putting my foot down (more like my FORK, lol) and starting fresh! :) Look forward to seeing you progress alongside me! :)

Hi just want to put myself out there. Say hello to everyone emoticon

I am one my first day of cycle one. I am a little nerves about this, I try lots of diets but never really stick to any thing. So any encouraging words or thoughts you have for me would be very welcomed.

Little about me. I am married, have 2 wonderful kids (that have very full schedules... something I am working on down sizing also. So any thoughts and/or tricks on how to do that would be AWESOME!) I am looking to lose 15 to 20lb. But mostly I just want to feel like myself again. Not so drained all the time.

I cant wait to start meeting all of you! Looks like a fun group!
