Thanks cat! I think your exactly right about the points system. Its a great place to start but I feel like I've graduated to something more user friendly.

Welcome to SP and to this team. Congratulations on all your weight loss to date. I know what effort and committment it takes.
You are right about SP giving you the tools to track all your nutritional goals. Even in maintenance (for life) I track all my food and review my nutritional report every day to make sure I am getting all the nutritional elements right for me. I have difficulty getting enough protein and mono & poly unsat fats so when I put my food in for the day (either in the morning or the night before) I look at the report to see if I need to add or subtract something in order to be balanced.
In my opinion, counting points doesn't really teach you how to eat as much as learning from reading labels and the tracking reports here.
Continued success to you, Brian, and if I can help you along the way let me know.

Hi all! My name is Brian. I just wanted to introduce my self and say hi. I have been doing W.W. since January and have lost 72lbs so far. My diet and exercise are pretty well set and I'm switching to spark because I like idea of being able to control my targets(calories, protein, ect.) and I just like the idea of tracking calories much better than points. Plus this website looks like it is maintained much better with more current content.
