Truth?

My experience is that if you want to change you must just do it and not give lip service.
It takes inner strength and fortitude to make positive changes in oneself. But it also takes effort, dedication, and perseverance.

It is because of this that many people give up. It is easier to not do anything than to put out all the effort required.

Also, having said all this. I really do understand how difficult it is to get up and put one foot in front of the other every single day. It really is not easy.

It took everything I had to lose 71 lbs. If I can do it then so can you all.

We all struggle from time to time... I've been here for over 2 yrs, and I still have my moments!

Just take it one day at a time... and if you have a bad day, jump right back on the wagon the next day... or even better, the next meal! The most important thing is to get back up just one time more than we fall...

GOOD LUCK reaching your goals!!!

Hey there, I have been away for a few days, but I like you am just barely starting to get more active. Have faith that action, ANY action is always a step forward. Its like 12 step programs say, "keep coming back".

I joined a bit over a month ago but am struggling to get started. I am trying to focus but only find myself able to stick to any sort of plan for more than a day or two - even just the plan to log my food without even trying to change what I'm eating! I could use any suggestions or support!
