Hi Rodney

What is your SparkPeople recommended calorie range? Are you tracking all of your food daily in your nutrition tracker? Do you measure yourself? Is it possible you've lost inches even if the scale isn't moving?

I do not understand this stuff real well. I have been below my BMR every day for 60 days and no weight loss. My sugar levels are much better and my blood pressure is 10 points better but no weight loss. I average 2100 to 2200 a day and my BMR is 2800. Something not right. I usually get 300 to 400 on the exorcise and that makes me feel better as well. I have diabetes, and reducing my meds on it due to eating less carbs and more protein and fat. I use a mix of the paleo, ketogenic and atkins as my eating. Another wards 30 percent protein, 20 percent carbs and 50 percent fat. I did low fat for 7 years and got fatter and ended up with a triple bypass and my two caardiologists said that low fat is deadly for the heart and being fat so, I have been eating paleo now. I think the BMR is off and that I should be eating about 1800 not 2200. What is the deal with the BMR
