You can start by walking at your pace. There are people who did their walking for years before breaking into a run. One of the ways that help in running and running fast is losing weight, so when you have lost some of the excess weight you are likely to run injury free.

I would love to run a 5K. I am overweight and I feel that running with all of this weight will hurt my knees, feet, body. How can an overweight person run without injury?
