JU-ISH, I don't know if you have access to a pool, but swimming is fantastic exercise and much easier just to do aerobics in the water. In bad weather, I use light weights (or even filled water bottles will work) and walk in place or even sit in a chair and do arm exercises.

Need some advice please :)

I am walk/jogging 3x a week, but don't know what to do for cross training in between. I'm 20 weeks pregnant, and used to go to a gym, but it's 25 mins away, so am looking for things to do around here (there is a gym in town here, but it's not good :S).

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use my exercise ball to do crunches, sit-ups and push-ups. It really helps my back and I don't have to hurt my knee by trying to get down on the floor. I also walked to Walk Away the Pounds because it is raining today.

Mowed the lawn - for 2 hours, bagging all the seed heads. Pushing around the mower and lugging the grass catcher on a (very) regular basis... It's a self-propel mower, but only one wheel is pulling, and the mower is a lot heavier than non-self-propel. So yes, it was a workout - arms AND legs ;-)

Did 20 min walk on the treadmill with 3% incline today, was it challenging? You bet.

I was also on the cross trainer and the stationary bike. I am bring my body back into a running mood. I would be signing in for my virtual race immediately I leave on staycation.
