Had recently started myself on aerobic and physical condtioning with: walking, then walk-jog-walking and then jogging.

Hyper-extended my left knee about three months back and had to drop back to walking ONLY !

I have managed to increase my walk: frequency, duration, mileage and speed. Have gotten to the place, this week of jogging for very short bursts at a conservative speed, on the treadmill. I've been more than a bit shocked and dismayed by the fact that I have been maintaining my walking and other aerobic and strength conditioning . . . but my HR gets up and going quickly . . . even though my jogging has been slow and brief ! ! !

I'm rather anxious to gradually and safely get into jogging condition. 5 Ks of jogging sounds to me like a hot stack of home-made pancakes with maple syrup on a cold winter morning. Don't want to wait though until it is winter, nor until it is COLD!

I've been learning a lot here, and expect to learn much more, especially after discovering the teams, etc.
