I have found the most amazing people on SP, and it is true that this is very unique.

SETTIMIA, Hi, Mother's Day weekend this year I joined SP and Myfitnesspal and several other weight loss groups on Facebook. I actually found my first weight loss group on FB by accident. One of my FB friend's posted a recipe on my wall and I clicked on it to see more info and found my first weight loss group. I had never ever joined any groups like this before. I would just try cutting back my portions, and eating healthier and exercising more in the past. But I always would go back to the old life style after losing the weight or stop before I lost the weight. So I would always end back up in the same place down the line. From that group I heard about MFP, and then the next day I found out about SP. I like them both and think they both have something different to offer, so I am actively tracking every thing each day on both sites since joining them and I still have my FB groups too. I seem to find what I am looking for easier with out having to in put the info myself in MFP than in SP for tracking my food and exercise. So maybe they have a bigger data base for that stuff? But SP lets me save a lot more of that info for future use then MFP. MFP only seems to let me keep so much of that stuff saved to use again with out having to look it up again. And then when you go to add something else, or you don't use some thing a lot, some stuff seems to fall off my list and I have to look it up again when I want to record it again. But I don't think that I have ever had that happen with SP. SP had lots of really neat videos on exercise, recipes and lots more, and lots of helpful articles too. MFP doesn't have that as far as I have found. And SP has a much more active Group/Team area than MFP too. I have a "NOOk" and I put both of them on it, but MFP works better on my "NOOK" than SP and it was free where I had to pay a couple bucks for my SP on my "NOOK". When I started I was at 170 and now I am down to 150 and still losing Lbs and inches weekly. I never did so well when I was going it on my own before. I am asthmatic, I have high blood pressure, I have gallstones and a fatty liver, and other health issues. But I am slowly being able to cut back all my medicines and have even been able to get completely off of some of them and stay off of them. I joined several groups in here right when I joined SP, but I can't keep up with them all constantly. So I try to check into some off and on. But I was asked to be a Co-leader of the Wii Fit Plus Team shortly after I joined SP, so I have a lot more to do with that group. I run a monthly challenge for that group. But I also really like this group, the 12 wks to walking team, and several of the groups for dog lovers/owners too. Well sorry this is such a long post. Well all my best to you all always.

Janette, Leader of the Wii Fit Plus Team.

Hi JMAHNKEN oh wow in two teams! How are you getting on with both of them?

I have been on SP for almost 3 months and I can say it is the best thing I have done. How about you?

SETTIMIA, The team leader or leaders will probably have to answer your question. I am in CA and I am in two of your teams, Zumba and 12 wks to walking. I have no problem with it as long as you are doing Zumba, but we will let the leader(s) determine it.
