Your determination and drive, your raw desire for this WILL get you where you want to go! Keep your kids and your husband in the back of your mind at all times, when the broccoli isn't tasting that great, when the treadmill isn't looking so hot. They're the best determination you could have!

Don't focus on the bad foods, rather, focus on all the healthy foods that make you feel good and keep that weight coming off! I make sure I only put foods in my mouth that I can get something positive out of. One thing I've learned is to have a positive attitude, no matter what, from day one!

I'm new to SP, too, so please feel free to contact me with ANY questions, comments, concerns, ideas, anything at all!

Hello to anyone and everyone. I've decided to do that whole "New Years Resolution" thing. I've tried fad diets that I have of course quit, because I have problems saying "NO" to food. If it's there - I will eat it - if it's something yummy - which is usually something fatening. I eat when I'm not hungry, I eat when I'm bored, I overeat when I'm eating a meal. I have 2 babies I want to watch grow up, and I have a wonderful husband I want to grow old with. It's time to stop the excuses, stop the complaining, and just lose the weight. I know it's unrealistic to tell myself "no carbs" or "no sugar", but if I can drastically REDUCE those evil foods, I hope to keep with my plan, and make it to my goal. I know it's not going to be easy, and I'm sure I'll want to give up and quit some days - if not most days - but I HAVE TO HAVE TO HAVE TO do this.
