GREAT!!!!
Congratulations.
There are maintenance teams for age groups. Mine is the 50+Maintainers. I know there are others for younger age groups. Search one out. It is helpful. If you can't find one for you, join ours.

Well I have reached my goal weight - 31 lbs. gone! I have lost 6 inches off my waist alone. Now I am working on how to maintain my goal weight! Almost as much work as losing the weight in the first place but I am determined!

How is everyone doing these days? Staying motivated? Getting in plenty of walking? Tracking your food regurarly? Losing weight and inches?

I am just shocked at my progress! Since Sept. 10th, I've lost 25 pounds and four inches off my waist. I still can't believe it, I will just stand on the scale and stare at the number in amazement!

My hairdresser commented to me how healthy my hair was looking, and I told her that I was on a nutrition plan. She said "Well it shows, your hair is gorgeous"! How's that for an unexpected bonus?

Congrats on everyone's progress!

I stopped by to see how we are doing and it looks like we are doing GREAT! I am pleased I got through the holiday season without gaining weight - despite the fact I pigged out for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. I am down 26 lbs. since I started on September 11th. A big CONGRATULATIONS to my fellow team members!

By the way: Have you noticed this? I was getting a little sleepy sometimes during the day and when I increased my protein, it solved the problem! That is so cool!

It's a process and so far it's going well. I've got more room in my clothes and loving the food. I'm using lots of swiss chard and spinach for the potassium I need. I'm changing very old and well worn habits! Thank heaven!

I hit the grocery store this morning and came home with frozen yogurt instead of ice cream, shells cheese and milk instead of Kraft mac and cheese, and oatmeal and frozen blueberries instead of froot loops. Not to mention the seedless grapes, the big bunch of bananas, and a bag of frozen mixed veggies. I overshot my budget but I know I have things that are better for me.

This is a great idea for a thread!

I've found that this is an amazing experience! I'm taking advantage of all the information/tools we've been given. I'm much more healthy than I was 53-ish days ago! I am stronger and I've learned to give myself nutritional food - I'm prefering nutritious food to what I used to eat, so I'm not finding it difficult to maintain. The best part for me is the community of people like me who are working to create a better life for themselves.

Since I started, I have gone over my allotted calories three times and had one binge episode. Pretty darn good for me. The real difference is that in the past, I would have let these small failures completely derail my diet and I would be even fatter than before. Since starting SP, I have lost 12 lbs. and I feel pretty darn good about that. More importantly, I am learning portion control and coping skills.

So how are you doing? I am pulling for YOUR success! I believe you can do it!!!
